GROW Youth began with a simple thought:
Why do we learn so much about the world — but so little about understanding ourselves and finding our own way in it?
That question became the starting point for GROW Youth.

GROW Youth was founded in 2021 at the initiative of Klaus Østergaard Lystbæk, following his own experience with exam anxiety.
After an exam where he completely shut down, he began to doubt himself — and search for answers.
Along the way, he found knowledge and tools that helped him understand his thoughts, feelings and reactions in an entirely new way.
It didn’t just change how he approached exams.
It changed how he saw himself.
“The biggest breakthrough wasn’t later getting top grades. It was discovering that there was nothing wrong with me. I had simply never learned the tools I needed.”
And one question kept returning:
